RebuildTO, a non-profit initiative seeking to encourage change and restore community in Canada’s largest and most diverse city, is seeking a passionate and skilled Social Media Manager.
This is a volunteer role, ideal for someone who wants to contribute to meaningful community projects and gain valuable experience in the field of digital marketing and communications.
As a member of the RebuildTO team, you'll play a key role in shaping the storytelling, external brand and overall personality of our initiative in the real world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Content Creation and Curation: Work with the Brand & Marketing Leads to develop a content calendar that reflects RebuildTO's mission and goals, creating and curating blog posts, articles, videos, and graphics.
- Social Media Management: Manage RebuildTO's social media accounts, including post scheduling, audience engagement, and community management.
- Brand Voice and Messaging: Maintain consistency in messaging and style, ensuring that content aligns with RebuildTO's brand voice and audience.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track social media performance, providing insights for strategy refinement.
- Collaboration: Work with various teams and contributors within RebuildTO to ensure unified branding and communication.
- Influencer Partnerships: Engage with city-wide influencers, thought leaders and advocates to enhance RebuildTO's outreach and impact.
Requirements:
- Experience: Interest or experience in a relevant field or equivalent experience in content creation and social media management.
- Skills: Strong writing, editing, and visual content creation skills; proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
- Creativity and Innovation: Ability to produce engaging and original content ideas.
- Analytical Skills: Competence in data interpretation for informed decision-making.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Time Management: Effective project management abilities.
